Equipment... You will need a digital transcriber capable of handling the formats we receive.  We recommend Gearplayer which you can purchase at TranscriptionGear.com this unit is capable of supporting a vast array of file formats.  A high speed internet connection (cable modem, DSL or better). 

Minimum PC hardware and software requirements

• Pentium Based PC Processor 200mhz or Above   
• 32 Megabytes of System Ram    
• 100 Megabytes of Free Hard Disk Space   
• Microsoft Windows 95B, 98, 2000, XP, ME, or Windows NT 4.0    
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or Above    
• A SoundBlaster 16 Compatible Sound Card    
• External Speakers or a Stereo Headset    
• A Free 9-Pin Serial Port (for foot pedal support) or USB Port    
• Microsoft Windows Media Player Base Install (for CODEC Support)   
• Microsoft Word.  

Compensation... Is based on a per line rate depending on difficulty/turnaround time and your experience.  All transcriptionist are compensated as an Independent Contractor.  You will be issued a 1099 at the end of the year.

Requirements... Confidentiality Agreement...must be signed and returned (original only).    A clear copy of your Social Security Card and Drivers license or non-driver ID
